CGP stands for Curses General Player and represents a general audio player interface built on CDK(Curses Development Kit) and ncurses. It can play different audio formats by adding filters. A filter is a file wildcard with an associated play command. The filters and a few others interface settings can be configured by simply modifying a file($HOME/.cgp/cgprc for a specific user or /etc/cgprc for all users).
