Scarabeus is linux version of world famous desk game of Scrabble(R)

Software requirements: Pro úspešnou instalaci je mít zapotřebí některou linuxovou distibuci. Aplikace vznikala pro RedHat Linux 7.3 a program byl otestován i na RH 7.1, RH 8, 9 a Debianu 3.0, ale měl bych fungovat i na ostatních Linuxech. Pro zkompilování je nutné mít nainstalovány knihovny pro Gnome 1 a GTK 1.2, včetně svých devel balíků. Pro instalaci je neprvé nutné modifikovat soubor Makefile, nastavit cestu, kam se bude program instalovat, popř. nastavit cesty k programům glib-config, gtk-config a gnome-config. Poté proveďte příkaz make a make install. Všechny zmíněné informace lze naleznout také v souborech INSTALL a README v balíku se zdrojovými texty programu.
