Fetchnews je program podobný programu fetchmail, ale vytvorený na sťahovanie správ z NNTP serverov. Program je potom schopný ukladať správy do mboxov (každá newsová skupina môže mať vlastný mbox) alebo môže odosielať správy SMTP serveru. Program je plne konfigurovateľný a prispôsobiteľný.
