HandySQL3 is a perl interface for MySQL. It connects directly to MySQL server, not using DBI/DBD and Mysql-msql modules. The main routines are written in C, and the top-level object-oriented interface is done in perl, increasing performance up to 20% compared to DBI/DBD.
